Senegalese national Haruna Tine is suspected of stabbing one Fatoumata Kargbo to death at a Forex Exchange Bureau in Westfield, Kanifing Municipality.
Tine, who has lived in Gambia for sometime now, is currently being closely monitored by the police at Ndemban Clinic in Bakau after he committed injuries on his body following his alleged crime.
He allegedly stabbed Kargbo on her neck and attempted to kill himself on his stomach and ribs, but did not die.
Kargbo was rushed to Westfield Clinic, where she died. Tine is receiving medical treatment while the police investigations continue.
