Corroborated witness in the community of Jarumeh Koto, a few kilometers away from Janjanbureh in the Central River Region of the Gambia, claim that a mini truck has killed at least six boys.
The tragic tragedy occurred on Saturday night while the victims were celebrating a game victory in the local football Nawetan championship by chanting and dancing on the highway.
At least six people, according to our eyewitnesses, passed away instantly, while numerous others suffered severe injuries before being sent to Bansang General Hospital.
The driver, who was still at large as we were typing this, had abandoned the car that caused the accident. To find him, the police are conducting a search.
