Gambiaj.com – (BANJUL) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, recently concluded a productive meeting with Mamadou Tangara, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Affairs of Gambians Abroad, during a working visit to The Gambia. Among the highlights of their discussions was the signing of an agreement to abolish the visa regime between the two countries for holders of diplomatic passports.
This agreement signifies a significant step towards enhancing bilateral relations and fostering cooperation in various fields between Azerbaijan and The Gambia.
The ministers also delved into topics of mutual interest such as trade, culture, and education, demonstrating their commitment to further strengthening diplomatic ties.
The meeting served as a platform to discuss other bilateral and multilateral issues, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration and friendship between the two nations.
Both parties expressed optimism about building on the agreements reached and continuing to deepen their diplomatic relations in the future.
