The Gambia’s Attorney General’s Chambers and Ministry of Justice has today announced that it has provided Mutual Legal Assistance to the
President Adama Barrow announced on Day 2 of his Meet the Peoples Tour that fees for obtaining administrative and national documents, as well as other public services like hospital consultations and treatments, compound transactions, court summonses, and so forth, will increase generally by 150 to 300 percent.
Ebrima G. Sankareh, the Government Spokesperson and Presidential Diaspora Adviser, announced today that the contract for the production of biometric ID cards and related documents, signed on July 17th, 2018, with Semlex Group SA, has recently expired. Mr Sankareh made the disclosure while discussing the recent halt in the issuance of Gambian identity cards, passports, and driver’s licenses.
