Two Remanded for Cocaine Possession, One Granted Bail for Cannabis Peddling

Gambiaj.com – (KANIFING) – In a Tuesday court proceeding at the Kanifing Magistrates Court, Alagie Njie and Assan Jobe were denied bail by Magistrate Touray for possession of prohibited cocaine. The duo, charged under section 43(4)b of the Drug Control Act 2003, were found in possession of 2 grams and 84 milligrams of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Both individuals pleaded not guilty to the charges.
