48 hours ago, a child, identified as Ousman Njie, had been reported missing while playing in the rain at Bundung Borehole near Sukuta-Nema. Ousman reportedly fell into the water as it flowed from Bundung Borehole to Tiper Garage. He was visiting family in Sukuta-Nema from his home in Bakoteh at the time of the incident. His family sought public assistance in locating him.
The search efforts, involving both volunteers and authorities, have been ongoing as they strive to locate Ousman and bring closure to the distressed family.
With heavy rains over the past few days, parents are being urged to keep a vigilant watch over their children near any bodies of water.
