Comium has officially launched its 4G+ service in a press conference, after a successful testing phase where customers used it for free with positive feedback. This development markes a significant milestone in the country’s telecommunications sector.
Abdoulie Drammeh, the ISP Director, announced the launch, emphasizing Comium’s aim to transform the digital landscape with affordable internet.
He mentioned Monty Mobile’s investment in upgrading Comium’s network and restoring its leading position. Drammeh highlighted Monty Mobile’s culture of innovation and its significant investments in infrastructure and human resources. He revealed that Comium has deployed 4G+ cell sites in Banjul and other areas, with plans for more to ensure full coverage.
The company invited Gambians to participate in the testing phase, promising value-added services and thanked the Ministry of Digital Economy and PURA for their support.
Sarjo Khan, the Commercial Director, thanked the population for embracing the transformation and promised continued expansion of coverage and affordable services. Isatou G. Ceesay, the Commercial Manager, expressed excitement about the launch and the new direction for Comium.
