Police are currently investigating two alleged murders that occurred in the early hours of today in Abuko and Sukuta Nema of the Bundung Police Division, leaving residents fearful and shocked.
In Sukuta Nema, residents are reeling from the brutal killing of 26-year-old Isatou Bah by unidentified armed robbers. The incident, reported at 00:32hrs to the Sukuta Nema police station, saw the robbers storm Isatou Bah’s room late at night, ransacking the place before fatally stabbing her. The perpetrators made off with her iPhone and D60,000, leaving the community in shock.
Meanwhile, in Abuko, the second murder case was reported at 03:45hrs, involving the killing of Amadou Jallow. The suspect, Musa Bah, whose address is unknown, is currently on the run. The police have not provided further details on the circumstances of this incident.
Both cases have been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigations. The police are currently at the crime scenes conducting their investigations, while the bodies of the deceased have been taken to the mortuary.
The police are urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in apprehending the suspects, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in ensuring justice for the victims and their families.
