Additionally, President Barrow emphasized the next Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) gathering that The Gambia will be hosting. He underlined the significance of the occasion, pointing out that it is the biggest assembly in the Muslim Ummah.
As one of the smaller nations in the Ummah, the Gambian people consider it an honor to host an event of this nature. In order to guarantee the event’s success and leave a lasting legacy for the nation, he urged all Gambians to embrace and support it. He also encouraged active involvement.
