Elon Musk’s X Hit With Massive Global Outage, Users Unable to Access Feed, Post Content

Gambiaj.com – (BANJUL, The Gambia) – Microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) witnessed multiple outages on Monday as users across the world reported that the app and website were not working properly and they were unable to push the content. Three separate outages appear to have hit Elon Musk’s X social media site Monday.

Thousands of reports of trouble accessing or using the site were first registered around 03 a.m. when Downdetector.com, which tracks outages by collating status reports from several sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform. Data on the DownDetector website showed that over 17,871 complaints were logged regarding the microblogging platform around 3.20 pm ET Monday. It took about an hour before those issues subsided.

The users again complained about the second outage at 7:32 pm. Further, the users once again reported issues while pushing content on the microblogging site at around 9:32 pm, according to DownDetector. It again took about an hour for that incident to dissipate.

Finally, around 11:10 a.m., the issues cropped up again, according to Downdetector.

As per the tracking website, 56 percent of users faced problems with the app, while 33 percent reported issues with the website. 11 percent of users encountered server connection errors.

However, X has not issued an official statement addressing the cause of these outages. Since the social media platform experienced an outage, numerous users went to other platforms such as Facebook and Reddit to express their frustration.

Outage Triggers Memes Fest

The global outage of the microblogging platform triggers a meme fest on the social media. Netizens took to X and other social media platforms to express their frustration over the outage via memes.

As per the tracking website, 56 percent of users faced problems with the app, while 33 percent reported issues with the website. 11 percent of users encountered server connection errors.

However, X has not issued an official statement addressing the cause of these outages. Since the social media platform experienced an outage, numerous users went to other platforms such as Facebook and Reddit to express their frustration.

X, formerly Twitter, was acquired by tech billionaire Elon Musk in 2022. Musk purchased the application for a whopping sum of $44 billion.
