Dr. Jorjoh Ndure Tambedou, the CEO of INSIST Global and advisor for the Gambia Women in STEM initiative, is another Woman The Gambia Journal is celebrating International Women’s Day for her outstanding contributions to the fields of technology and health.

In an interview with Gambia’s West Coast radio, Dr. Tambedou shared her remarkable journey, highlighting her passion for STEM that began at the age of 16. She spoke of her transition from clinical trials to the technology field, driven by her interest in data analytics and statistics.

In November 2023, she received the prestigious Pan African Changemaker Order of Merit at the 8th Pan African Humanitarian Investment Summit, a testament to her outstanding contribution in business and her continued support and contribution to African humanitarian causes. With her passion for nurturing the next generation of female leaders in STEM, Dr. Tambedou continues to make a lasting impact on the tech industry and inspire others to pursue their dreams in science and technology.
