Gambiaj.com – (BANJUL, The Gambia) – Farato Police have launched an investigation following the reported suicide of an adult male in Iceland, a neighborhood in Farato Village.

The deceased has been identified as Bakary Darboe, aged between 30 and 40, and a resident of the area. According to family members, Darboe was found hanging in his room by his mother, who attempted to revive him after cutting the rope and laying him on his bed.

Authorities were alerted, and police investigators have since visited the scene to gather evidence and ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
