Gambiaj.com – (BANJUL, The Gambia) – The Gambia International Airlines Ltd. (GIA) has officially announced the cost and details of its 2025 Hajj package, setting the total price at D525,000 per pilgrim. The airline, responsible for facilitating travel to the annual Islamic pilgrimage, assured intending pilgrims of a comprehensive package that includes essential services for a smooth journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to the announcement, the package covers a round-trip airfare between The Gambia and Saudi Arabia, hotel accommodations in Medina and Mecca, ground transportation within Saudi Arabia, comfortable accommodation in Mina, including three daily meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the stay in Medina and Mecca, and a 5-liter bottle of Zam Zam water for each pilgrim..
However, the GIA clarified that the cost of the Tobaski ram is not included in the package, in line with the directive from the National Hajj Commission. Pilgrims wishing to perform the Tobaski sacrifice will need to pay an additional D15,000 for the purchase of a ram.
The airline urged pilgrims who have already made deposits to complete their payments by Saturday, February 15, 2025. Additionally, all intending pilgrims must ensure they have valid Gambian passports and submit them to the GIA Head Office at the Airport entrance as soon as possible.
GIA assured all intending pilgrims of a successful and well-organized Hajj journey, praying that Allah accepts their pilgrimage.
