Sanyang, widely recognized as The Mandinka Sports Presenter and the host of World Sports Daily: Have Your Say at Star FM Radio, was a beloved figure in the world of sports journalism.
His sudden passing has left a profound void among colleagues, listeners, and the broader sporting community.
In an emotional statement, his colleagues expressed their immense grief, noting how difficult it was to even write the announcement as they struggled to come to terms with the devastating news. Sanyang’s last message in their staff group just before the tragedy struck serves as a painful reminder of his unwavering commitment to his profession and his colleagues.
Beyond his talents as a broadcaster, Sanyang was known for his warmth, passion, and dedication to his craft. His ability to engage audiences and his relentless pursuit of excellence made him a standout voice in Gambian sports journalism.
