He noted that projects such as the conference center, highways, and infrastructure improvements were already benefiting the country, with more benefits expected from hosting the summit and chairing the OIC.
Addressing security concerns, President Barrow assured that security was the top priority, with significant resources allocated to ensure the safety of delegates. He stated that The Gambia would benefit economically from hosting the summit, with thousands of delegates expected to spend money in the country, boosting the economy.
