Gambiaj.com – (COVENTRY) – Gambian-British rapper Pa Salieu Gaye has been released from prison in England after serving a thirty-three (33) month jail term. The charges stemmed from his involvement in a mass fight outside a bar in his hometown of Coventry in 2018, where he was accused of violent disorder and possessing a bottle as an offensive weapon.

Pa Salieu, known for his unique blend of Afro-Beats, Grime, and UK drill, has a massive following with over two million views and three million streams on various music platforms. Under the record label Warner Records, he has produced global hit singles like “Frontline,” which was the most played song of 2020 on BBC 1Xtra.

The rapper’s collaborations with artists such as South London’s SL on “Hits the Block” and Meekz, M1llionz, and Teeway on “Year of the Real” have further solidified his reputation in the music industry. In January 2021, he was crowned the winner of the prestigious BBC Sound award.

Despite his time away from the spotlight, Pa Salieu’s popularity has continued to soar. Fans from around the world took to social media to celebrate his release, anticipating more music and projects from the talented artist.
