A mechanic, his girlfriend, and a Gambian marabout were arrested, charged, and remanded in the Senegalese region of Thiès’s first district for unlawful association, covert abortion, and endangering others. The story begins with a romantic relationship between L. Faye and M. S., who become pregnant against their will. They devised a plan to eliminate the pregnancy.

L. Faye, residing in Thiès’ Senghor Estate, visited his girlfriend at a Gambian Marabout to end her pregnancy. She received holy water and a talisman from A. Krubally, and after drinking the wine, she let her fetus go.

Sadly, nothing went according to plan. The girl started bleeding as a result of her problems.

Her entrepreneur aunt, N. K. G., disclosed the criminal act to the authorities after learning about it. The woman told the chief police investigator that her niece had chosen to end her pregnancy on her own volition.

Questioned by the police, M. S. admitted to having sex with her boyfriend twice and went to a clinic after missing their period. The pregnancy test result was positive. When asked about her abortion, she revealed that her boyfriend drove her to a Gambian marabout’s house. The teenage girl admitted to the incident.

When investigators questioned L. Faye, he denied forcing his girlfriend to abort the fetus. Subsequently, L. Faye informed the authorities that he had brought his girlfriend M. S. to the Gambian marabout merely to beg for prayers for her well-being and unborn child. After the two lovers were unable to persuade the investigators, they were charged and placed in police custody.

Detective agents successfully apprehended the Gambian marabout responsible for a girl’s abortion. A. Krubally only partially acknowledged the accusations made against him. The couple was welcomed by the charlatan at his house in Fahu. L. Faye confided in Krubally about his worries after learning about his partner’s pregnancy. Krubally gave the girl a talisman to wear around her waist.

The tree suspects were referred to the public prosecutor’s office on charges of criminal conspiracy, covert abortion, and endangering human life.
