Gambian defensive midfielder Sulayman Marreh has finalized a permanent transfer to Serbian club FK Zeleznicar Pancevo as a free agent. The deal was officially sealed on February 16th, securing Marreh’s participation in the Serbian Super Liga.

The 28-year-old, known for his dynamic playstyle and defensive prowess, joins FK Zeleznicar Pancevo with an undisclosed market value. Hailing from Abuko, Marreh is a seasoned professional, having represented the Gambia Senior National Team in numerous local and international fixtures.

Marreh’s exceptional performances and tactical acumen have garnered respect both within the national team and among international clubs. His recent call-up for the Afcoon competition in Ivory Coast further underscores his value to the Gambian squad.

The midfielder had been a free agent for nearly seven months before finalizing his move to the Serbian top-tier club. Marreh’s career has seen him progress through various youth and senior teams, including Watford U23, Granada, Real Valladolid (on loan), Almeria (on loan), Eupen, and Gent.
