Internet access in Senegal, via mobile data, was restored this Wednesday, February 7. Neither the Ministry of Communications nor the telephone operators have, however, officially made a public statement about the return of mobile data internet.
Mobile internet access in Dakar has been cut due to political crisis in Senegal, with President Macky Sall postponing the election.
The Senegalese parliament has voted a nine-month postponement of the presidential poll, and the government restricted internet access in specific areas following a surge of violent protests against the new political developments.
