A top NPP official told The Fatu Network that Ramatoulie Sabally, a member of the United Democratic Party (UDP), has formally shifted allegiance to President Adama Barrow’s ruling National People’s Party (NPP).

Former top NPP mobilizer Ramatoulie left the ruling party to join the opposition UDP. Less than a week had passed since her brother, Momodou Sabally, the previous campaign manager for the UDP, crossed over to the NPP.

Sources close to the Fatu Network have confirmed that Ramatoulie will pay President Barrow a visit at the State House on Sunday.

As he urged for unity and politics of decency, Lamin Cham, the campaign manager for the National People’s Party (NPP), stated that his party has extended a warm welcome to every Gambian. Cham was doing an interview with The Voice Newspaper.

He clarified, saying, “Our doors are open. Upon closer inspection, members of the NPP’s national executive come from every political party. There will be room for newcomers.
