Danish Superliga professional football club Odense Boldklub have liked what they have seen from young Gambian defender Yaya Bojang. They are considering offering him a contract extension. This means that the 19-year-old Gambian center-back will be snatched from the Fynbos’ U19 team, which he joined this summer on a loan agreement from Real de Banjul in Gambia.
According to Danish tabloid newspaper BT, Ådalen intends to buy the talented defender on a permanent deal. According to BT, Bojang has signed a 3-year-long and half agreement with OB, where he is intended to secure a place in the Superliga squad.
Yaya Bojang has already played 11 games for OB’s U19 team but must henceforth turn out for the club’s first team. The purchase of the young Gambian defender will also be Søren Krogh’s first purchase as head coach at OB.
Odense Boldklub is a Danish professional football club based in the city of Odense, in southern Denmark. The club has won three Danish championships and five Danish Cup trophies. OB play in the Danish Superliga, and their home field is Nature Energy Park.
