Gambiaj.com – (BANSANG, The Gambia) – Authorities in Bansang have launched an investigation into the alleged murder of Musa Bah, a Senegalese national, whose lifeless body was discovered on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Bansang Sukuru Kunda Allatentu.

According to police sources, officers responded to a distress call and found Bah, an adult marabout residing in the area, dead at the scene. According to independent witnesses mentioned by local media, Musa Bah was found deceased on the outskirts of Bansang. His eyes and other facial features were brutally removed.

The police said nearby, investigators recovered his shoes, glasses, and what is believed to be the murder weapon. However, Bah’s motorbike was notably missing.

Preliminary findings indicate that Bah was last seen with two individuals who had visited him earlier that day, claiming to be his relatives. His wife recounted that after meeting with them, Bah left in their company but never returned.

Their sudden disappearance has raised further suspicion, with law enforcement now working to trace their whereabouts.

As investigations continue, the police are urging the public to provide any relevant information that could aid in solving the case.
