Gambiaj.com – (BANJUL, The Gambia) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad announced the establishment of a Schengen Visa Collection Center in The Gambia, marking a significant improvement for Gambians planning travel to Schengen countries. The Consulate of Spain in Dakar, Senegal, has set up the new visa facility, allowing Gambian citizens to apply for tourist visas in Banjul instead of making the journey to Dakar.
This new visa service will operate through BLS International, a visa outsourcing and technology services company, with an office based in Manjai. Each month, the center will accept 100 appointment requests, which can be made online at BLS International’s website.
The Ministry expressed gratitude to the Spanish government and its diplomatic missions in Dakar and Banjul for their support in establishing this visa center, which will streamline the application process and facilitate easier travel for Gambians. The Ministry also extended its best wishes to the Kingdom of Spain on the occasion of its upcoming National Day, highlighting the collaborative ties between the two nations.
This initiative marks an important milestone in diplomatic cooperation, reflecting Spain’s commitment to strengthening connections with The Gambia and promoting easier mobility for Gambian citizens traveling to Europe.
