Twin footballers, Sainey and Sanna Nyassi of Sibanor United, have been playing together since they were kids. They have an unbreakable bond both on and off the field. One of their most impressive skills as a duo is their telepathy on the field. Whenever Sanna hears his twin brother’s call, he knows exactly where to pass the ball to him without even looking. Sainey is a left winger while Sanna runs the right.

‘‘I just need to hear his voice and I will direct the ball to him no matter his position in the field, Sanna told the Gambia Journal in an exclusive interview. ‘’I am so much connected with Sainey on and off the field, and that always counts on game days.’’

Sibanor United, a rising football club from the west coast region, has made headlines with its recent promotion to the second division of the national league. And Sainey and Sanna Nyassi, have been key to the team’s success.
