The announcement, made via Truth Social, marks a direct U.S. military intervention following a period of heightened regional instability and reports of Israeli strikes on Iranian targets.
According to President Trump’s posts, all American planes involved in the operation have safely exited Iranian airspace and are “on their way home.”
He explicitly stated that a “full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” and lauded the “great American Warriors,” claiming, “There is not another military in the World that could have done this.”

Iranian state media outlet FARS News reported that residents of Qom, approximately 87 miles south of Tehran, heard several explosions outside their city, which came after the air defense system at Fordow was activated.
