The wrestling match between Bombardier, also known as B52, of Mbour and Senegalese champions Reug-Reug of Thiaroye-sur-Mer was deemed to be an intergenerational shock. Youth energy eventually took command over experience.
The lad from Thiaroye, sixteen years younger than his 47-year-old opponent from Mbourois, triumphed in the most exquisite fashion. Reug Reug took the initiative and started attacking a battle after the two wrestlers had watched for five minutes.
He made an attempt to clinch and then tackled B52, knocking him to the ground.
Reug-Reug signs his 15th victory in the Senegalese heavyweight top brass with his victory over Bombardier, which lets the VIPs in. Conversely, this loss might hasten the retirement of Bombardier.
