Senegal – PASTEF Politician Ndiaga Seck Confesses, Hands Investigators Names of Alleged Partners.

Gambiaj.com – (DAKAR, Senegal) – A Senegalese ruling PASTEF political figure, Ndiaga Seck, has reportedly made extensive confessions to investigators in a high-profile morality case that has gripped public attention in Senegal, according to details from an investigative report transmitted to judicial authorities in Louga.

Seck appeared before an investigating judge in Louga today and was reportedly facing possible remand into custody within hours.

The PASTEF political figure, who was arrested last Friday in connection with an investigation into alleged homosexual activities in Linguère, initially denied the accusations during his first interrogation on Saturday.

However, investigators reportedly changed the course of the questioning after carrying out a preliminary examination of his mobile phone with his consent.

According to the investigation file cited by Senegalese media, evidence recovered from the device allegedly corroborated statements previously made by detainee Ahmadou Lamine Dia, prompting Seck to abandon his denials and provide a detailed statement under official questioning.

In his reported confession, Seck recounted aspects of his childhood and personal history, telling investigators that his parents divorced when he was between four and five years old and that he was subsequently raised by his paternal grandmother in Ziguinchor, where he performed household chores.

He allegedly told police that he first developed effeminate mannerisms while growing up in Ziguinchor and engaged in non-penetrative sexual touching with boys his age during adolescence.

According to the interrogation record, Seck said his life took a decisive turn between 1998 and 1999 after meeting a man based in France through an online chat platform in a cybercafé.

He allegedly admitted that the two later met in Senegal, where they engaged in sexual relations at the former Le Méridien Président hotel in Dakar.

The politician reportedly further disclosed that he later entered into an intimate relationship with another man identified as Papis Camara after meeting him through the same online platform.

He allegedly admitted that the relationship marked his deeper involvement in homosexual circles and that he subsequently maintained relations with several men over the years.

Investigators say Seck acknowledged hosting partners at his residence and described himself as the “active” participant in those encounters.

One of the most explosive elements of the reported confession concerns the identities allegedly handed over to investigators.

According to sources cited by the Senegalese media, Seck provided the investigating magistrate with the names and telephone numbers of around ten alleged former partners, a development that could significantly widen the scope of the inquiry.

The revelations are expected to intensify the ongoing investigation and could potentially expose additional suspects to police scrutiny as authorities move to verify the information provided.

Despite the admissions reportedly contained in the police file, Seck is said to have told investigators that he had since repented and abandoned homosexuality.

He allegedly claimed to have attempted to counsel other homosexuals against the practice and emphasized that he had undertaken the pilgrimage to Mecca more than three times.

Authorities have also seized his mobile phone, which has been placed under seal and is expected to undergo deeper forensic analysis by Senegal’s Special Cybersecurity Division as investigators continue the probe.

In fine, Ndiaga Seck was indicted and remanded in custody by the investigating judge of the Louga High Court. The 51-year-old PASTEF politician is expected to spend his first night at Louga Central Prison after being transferred to his cell following the court’s decision.
