Gambiaj.com – (BANJUL, The Gambia) – Dr. Assan Jaye, a distinguished West African scientist has been inducted as an honorary fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Sciences in recognition of nearly three decades of research and mentorship in the field of medical laboratory sciences.
The induction, which took place on April 29, marks a significant milestone in the researcher’s career, honoring 27 years of work focused on the immunology of HIV-2 and other viral infections.
The accolade also acknowledges Dr. Assan Jaye in his scientist’s role in mentoring a generation of postgraduate and post-doctoral researchers across the region.
